Willow Creek Country Club
Willow Creek Country Club is entering its twelfth year as the host site of the Utah Championship.
As one of Utah’s most prestigious Country Clubs, Willow Creek is nestled in the majestic Wasatch Mountains and always offers a tough test for some of the game’s greatest players. Located in Sandy, Utah, just thirty minutes from both downtown Salt Lake City and minutes away from some of Utah’s most premier ski resorts, Willow Creek's 7,104 yard course and professional staff always play terrific host to this annual Nationwide Tour stop.
The golf course at Willow Creek was renovated in 2005, providing both functional and aesthetic improvements. Major water features were added, and a straight irrigation “ditch” evolved into an undulating canyon stream that mimics the creeks that run through Big and Little Cottonwood canyons, both located just minutes from Willow Creek. Cement cart paths have been redirected throughout the course to take better advantage of the tree-filled, mature landscape that graces the property.
