Sandy City is home to River Oaks Golf Course and Willow Creek Country Club. Built in 1999, River Oaks Golf Course is nestled in the Jordan River bottom area and offers scenic views of wildlife encounters and secluded golf holes. It’s a 6,300 yard favorite for most who play it because of its link’s style of play and challenging layout. River Oaks practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping area and practice bunker. Other amenities include a full service pro shop, snack bar and café. Normal season of play is March 1 through November 15 with hours of operation from dawn to dusk all week. Collared shirts are required and denim is allowed.
