Envirocare Continues as Nationwide Sponsor

Envirocare of Utah Inc. has agreed to continue as the title sponsor for the 2004 Energy Solutions Utah Classic, an official PGA TOUR event on the Nationwide Tour.

The 2004 Energy Solutions Utah Classic will be played August 23-29 at Willow Creek Country Club in Sandy featuring future stars of the PGA TOUR. Tim Barney, senior vice president of Envirocare, and Evan Byers, executive tournament director, said his company, was delighted to exercise its option to sponsor the 2004 event after becoming the tournament's title sponsor in 2003.

"We are excited about having the opportunity to work with Evan Byers and the Utah Classic again next year," Barney said. "This world-class sporting event brings many benefits to our community. It obviously benefits the local economy but at the same time, it has a very positive impact on our youth."

The Energy Solutions Utah Classic benefits a number of local charities, in addition to providing youth activities and golf clinics, youth golf exhibitions, and community events.

"Envirocare's commitment for 2004 is beneficial in so many ways," said Byers, who is excited about the tournament being moved to August. "Not only do we have a solid, supportive partner for next year, but this commitment assures the continued growth and success of what is quickly becoming one of the Nationwide Tour's premiere events and a true asset for our community."
