Primary Childrens Medical Center
As the only full-service children’s hospital
in the Intermountain West, Primary Children’s
Medical Center breathes its mantra “The Child
First and Always.” The hospital’s 252 beds
hold the most critically ill and injured children
in a five-state area who require the most
sophisticated care, yet there is a spirit of hope
and love that pervades every square inch of the
facility.
Primary Children’s Medical Center holds the
distinction of being one of only nine Trauma
One hospitals in the nation, and sees an average
of 120 children a day in the Emergency Room.
In addition, the hospital offers cutting edge care
in over sixty subspecialties, from diabetes to
Down syndrome, and asthma to orthopedics.
From a child-centered fountain to colorful
artwork on the walls, the hospital is designed for
children. A meditation chapel, playroom, parent
resource center, and interpretation services are
available to make the hospital experience as
comfortable as possible.
The hospital’s charity care program ensures
every child will receive the best medical care,
regardless of ability to pay. Whether a child
comes to the hospital for a bone marrow
transplant, heart surgery, newborn intensive
care, genetic disease, or an outpatient checkup,
that child is placed first in the hearts and minds
of all who walk the halls of Primary Children’s
Medical Center.

Ridge Academy recognizes the necessity of all the
professional disciplines, i.e. educational, medical,
clinical teams and counselors to facilitate positive
change in boys. We strongly believe that long term
behavioral change comes as a result of the discovery,
implementation and practice of spiritual and moral
values. In contrast, the absence of these values
produces negative behavior.
We also believe that
the families of each boy and girl need guidance and
training in healthy family interaction to ensure
lasting change. In essence, we combine professional
therapy involving both the boy and girl and their
families together with the development of spiritual
and moral values.
